Is The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword Nintendo's most expensive game? Miyamoto speaks! - IGN.com

Zelda games are known for following some very basic principles, even though each entry finds its own way of innovating for the franchise. Skyward Sword is similar, but it does things differently enough to keep this entry from feeling like it's wasting your time. The game wants Link to be on his grand adventure as much as you do - IGN.com

This initial part of the game should take the average player about two to three hours to complete, and that greatly depends on how much adventuring you feel like doing early on in the game. Skyloft acts as your central hub in Skyward Sword, and Link will return to it numerous times throughout his adventure. So you shouldn't feel like you have to uncover and do everything here immediately. This wasn't where our adventure with Link ended, and we'll cover more on Skyward Sword during the next few weeks. Again, The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword will be released on November 20 for the Nintendo Wii. - Gamespot.com

OMG, the music in the romance trailer is GORGEOUS, and the other trailer looks EPIC!
My hype, once again, increased.

that was awesome! I am so hyped now for this game (not that I wasn't before though)

Miyamoto: "I can't imagine controlling a sword with buttons anymore."

I heard some elements of Wind Waker in that Romance theme. Love it. ^_^

I'm so glad that they're going for a different take on Zelda. She's usually the reserved and distant regal princess, but she seems much more forward and relatable from what I've seen.

Can. Not. Wait.

I will admit that I still have some reservations about waving my arms around quite so much for the entire game. Don't get me wrong; I think it's a great idea in theory, but in practice I would probably rather use the A button for the majority of the sword-play, with the motion reserved for the big/finishing/special moves, bomb bowling, etc. Call me a traditionalist, I suppose...

That being said, the motion-plus controls do look like they work great and are implemented creatively, and I'm sure my reservations regarding the Wiimote waving will disappear once I find myself enthralled in this absolutely epic looking title. I for one really dig the art style and think the graphics look great, and the new take on the story sounds very interesting.

And I love the fact that there's a second quest!
