Dude, that pic is a total fake. There is no way that thing is real. The design of it is so bad it's laughable, and doesn't look like it's of Nintendo quality at all.

Bad news still..... if it's mandatory and included in the next 3DS redesign. If it's just addon like guitar hero ds then it's OK then..... Sigh....

All you guys are overreacting. Ninty are not only considering about the consumers(us) that by the product but also the developers who will be bound to make excuse of 3DS not having second analogue. They made their mistake from the beginning and they dont want to be behind in some genres like shooting games as one of them which will be obviously be more favoured for PSvita. Like Iwata said they want to work and cooperate more with the 3rd parties which probably are the ones who told ninty that they need second analogue. So calm down guys its not their fault entirely.

I completely agree; they already kind of fucked up with hardware and now they're trying to compensate for it by making changes to that hardware. Lowering the price, adding on buttons, etc.

Monster Hunter Tri G for 3DS this Winter???!?!?! Nintendo is shooting with big guns towards Vita! I expect an explosion of sales for 3DS this holiday season.

it looks so bad and so awkward to hold, I was going to buy a 3DS at launch, but couldn't as it cost too much at the time, but now, I might as well wait until they integrate this into the system itself :/

I don`t know if this is the real, final design or just a protoype; I don`t even know if there won`t also be a 3DS redesign with everything included and this being just an option for those who already have a 3DS and don`t want to re-buy 3DS.

If this add-on comes packaged with the game i think people won`t really care. PSP is wider than 3DS and with the add-on it might make them equal. The volume, however...

It scares me that these rumors seem to actualyl be true... Nintendo should've added a second analog stick from the get go. They're realyl making way too many mistakes.
