The Bundle

The Limited Edition Gears of War 3 Bundle includes the Gears 3 Xbox 360 console with 320GB, and customized eject and power button with Gears sounds, a wired headset, two newly designed 360 controllers, and a copy of the game. Now moving on to the digital content that includes a token for Multiplayer-only Adam Fenix, the Infected Omen Weapon Pack, which gives players five starting weapons to play around with like, Lancer, Retro Lancer, Hammerburst, Sawed-Off Shotgun, and Gransher.

My Thoughts

      I believe Gears 3 will be huge this year racking up sales of 6M leading up to 2012, i believe that there was a very good reason for the game being delayed.  Rumor is that it was for marketing purposes, but i think other wise it was for me to be able to make this thread for it, i took a gaze up to the starts (like i do for all my predictions) last night and saw a sign it said that Gears3 will be huge now is your time.  I believe that it will continue to rain dominance on the TPS genre, there have been many improvements to the games online component things like smooth and painless online experience, great matchmaking, dedicated servers. 

The campaign side of this is also stellar its what youd expect from a hardcore TPS game no pansy stuff... epic story continues, classic gears brutal and bloody close-quarters combat, from what i could tell movement has been givin a bit more speed, settings;out goes the blue and grey palette replaced by earth tones and natural greens, new locust enemies, new weapons, still unmatched by many other exclusive games, 4 player full co-op campaign returns, and my favorite, new playable female characters. 

going by all that data i personally think it will hit 5.0-5.5M before the years up but i did want the thread title to say that b/c it doesnt sound dangerous, I see alot of people saying that it will only sell 6-7mill lifetime thats insane considering 5M is guaranteed before this year ends

post what you think gears3 will sell WW before the year ends and your reasoning behind it

After how great the Beta played it might make 6 million before year end. If Gears 2 did 4.3 million before 09 which was less than 2 months on the market Gears 3 will come close to 6 million since it will be on the market for about twice as long and its holiday.

That SKU is niiiiiice! I swear I would be tempted if LIVE was included in the price for 1 year.

Based on the pre-order chart I would have to agree with you.

Edit: But then again Reach was at 7 million in the same time frame...Is Gears of War really that close to Halo's popularity?

I think it might have a chance but then again didn't Reach sell a bit over 7 million in the same time frame? So therefore I don't agree with you. 5.5 million may be possible but I don't think it will get past the 6 million mark
