So the final score is MS at 72.4 and Sony at 78.71, all of Sony's lesser selling titles eventually overcame MSes stronger selling ones, and I didn't count games released before ps3s release because I felt that the games needed to be over the same time frame in order for the comparison to be accurate 

40 360 games Vs 80 PS3 games and 360 only loses by 6 mill? not bad!

So overall we have

MS at 93.25 (With KA and those pre PS3 launch games added
Sony at 78.71

Yea but it's an unfair comparison, KA didn't sell anything, it was just given away with kinect, and unless you count ps2 games released by Sony in the year after 360 launch it gives MS a years more worth of time to release games don't know why you felt the need to post that

So quantity hurts the sales?

Yea quantity of titles reduces the amount of sales each title gets, and Sony also doesn't advertise as much as MS, so I'm sure that plays a part 

Yeah but it was over 3 maybe 3.5 million when the WW release of PS3 happend. 

Great list. But PS3 published way more than 360. But 360 excluisves had plenty of hype the PS3 didn't

Yeah in hindsight I probably should of made an exception but I didn't really look at the date beyond if it was before ps3 launch or not, but don't feel like putting it in now, besides wouldn't change the outcome ps3 would still have more game sales overall
