Nintendo responds to bombardment of requests over Japanese games

Nintendo fans have been blasting the company’s American social media pages with all sorts of comments. A thread on the company’s Facebook has received over 3,000 comments while they also continue to see constant tweets and notices on their YouTube account.

It looks someone is finally taking notice. In response to the fan requests over the past several days, Nintendo of America posted a comment on both their Twitter and Facebook accounts saying “Hey fans, we appreciate your enthusiasm. Look for more updates to come soon!

Now, whether or not that actually means we’ll be seeing Xenoblade, The Last Story, and Pandora’s Tower is unknown. Perhaps they’re just trying to take some steam out of the campaign!

Want to know how far the localization efforts for The Last Story and Xenoblade Chronicles have gone? It turns out that both Mistwalker and Monolithsoft themselves have been made aware of what's going on with fans here in the states.

Mistwalker - "Thank you for the link. We appreciate all your support. tears..."

Monolithsoft - "Thanks a lot for hoping its North American release. :)"

I don't know about you, but Mistwalker's comments make it seem as if it's a lost cause for The Last Story! Thanks to MoldyClay for the heads up.

Somebody needs to take Reggie's name and kick his ass.

Legend11 correctly predicted that GTA IV (360+PS3) would outsell SSBB. I was wrong.

NOA response:-

And now we wait until they respond with something that will disappoint us horribly..sadly I trust Nintendo as much as Namco with localization right now....

Former something....

Keep it up guys.

Even JP members of Monolith Soft have taken notice on Twitter:

If everybody chips in a few $ I'll do it.

Need something off Play-Asia? http://www.play-asia.com/

Guys, rather than making such extremes, why don't we just continue with our campaign. Regardless of NoA's answer, we still have to campaign for them. We can't take no for an answer. We have to keep trying.

That's right.

Everybody has now to continue bombarding them with messages.

I personally dislike NoA's way of business where (Correct me if I am wrong) they believe if it won't sell a lot and bring a ton of profit they won't want to be bothered with localization.

That is seriously such a slap in the face.

It would be nice to see NoA take a hit for their fans seeing as how their fans have been taking hits for them for I don't know how many years now.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.
