The only year that Wii didn't get a CoD was 2007.  I expect that trend to continue.

In 2009 it got that game missing from 2007 still hasn't got MW2 from 2009, so why would it get MW3 when it didn't get 2? I mean it's very possible, but we've got more proof here it's difficult for MW to come to Wii, than we have a COD game every year.

Hey, maybe they're planning on MW Reflex 2!! (MW2)

Porting over the CoD games to the Wii ahould be fairly easy now.  Infinity Ward couldn't get the engine optimised for the Wii in time for MW in 2007.  Treyarch finished it up in time to get W@W on the Wii in 2008.  Like I said, we have seen a CoD every year since then.  We will see one this year too.  Which it is I don't know, but I didn't claim to in my post either.

Makes more financial and development sense to jump up to the current franchise release schedule instead of being 1 year behind and trying to use Treyarch to constantly play catch up with the in between years.

The engine is there. They have converted the content from the HD twins before.

1 million copies sold is nothing to sneeze at. Especially for greedy Activision.

As Viper said, why would they want to be behind when the PR for MW3 is being built up on the HD consoles?

why even bother making it on Wii!? probably sure money since it's a sure million seller

maybe a Wii U version would be better, and probably everything Nintendo would want, along with GTA 5

I can't see why the Wii can't get both on the same disc.

If they cut out the BS story (people actually play these things for story?) and go full on local and online multiplayer Activision would have a potential cashcow on their hands.

thats a terrible idea, Wii owners would be pissed because they would really get late and gimped versions of a game. And from what i hear about Black Ops on Wii, the online isnt nothing to be proud of

If the Wii does get Modern Warfare 3 I hope Activision gets Eurocom to make it. Treyarch did an okay job with Modern Warfare Reflex and Black Ops Wii but Goldeneye 007 Wii by Eurocom is such a better game overall. The engine used in GE is actually designed for the Wii and runs a lot better then the Call of Duty engines Activision has been using on the system.
