If that is your worry, Yoshida has you covered. Come on, the PSP was Sony's first handheld and it wouldn't be fair to assume the Vita's going down the same path. It was their first time supporting 2 different platforms. It was also launched for us 3 weeks ago. I also don't think that once PS4 comes out, we won't see anymore Vita support. Actually, I wouldn't be surprised if the PS4 had even greater Vita integration. All they would need to do is give the Vita some firmware updates. They said they are looking to give it a 5-8 year commitment. If you like the PS3 so much, I'm sure you appreciated Sony saying they were committed to supporting the PS3 for 10 years. Come E3 and I guarantee we will see Vita announcements FOR SURE. If there is nothing shown there that interests you, then yeah you have a right to complain. That said, the games I am now looking forward to are LBP, Disgaea, and Gravity Rush.

Your not Sony or the Vita Mugen, im not personally attacking you. i love sony and Playstation but i dont have to love the Vita, im not blind when it comes to sony. 

yeh i guess so, i am excited for E3 to see if they do have anything up there sleave. 

Sony needs to advertise this thing more. Everyone that gets it into their hands, loves everything about it. It needs to be known this thing is NOT the psp but a big step up. (Although the psp was my fav handheld).

The day this thing explodes in sales I will be happy, because its everything that Sony has learned done right. I hope piracy doesn't ravage this thing to no end, then we will really see why the psp had the life it did.

At the end of the year I look forward to still seeing this thread. One Christmas for the vita in the west will be awesome.

Intense thread here, I'm liking it.

Vita released over two weeks ago, and had a big launch lineup, but the honeymoon will be slowly ending for more and more people, like we see with PlaystaionGamer. It's up to Sony to get a steady release of decent games releasing, which I think they have in the works.

The main thing that seems to be happening that frustrates me is third parties or even Sony themselves who don't treat the Vita with enough respect. Stop giving us gimped ports of console versions. Don't even think of selling those same gimped versions for even more money than the console version. If your game cost $2 on the app store don't charge $5 on PSN.

I think the system is looking pretty good for North America and Europe, but that Japan conference was embarrassing. I wouldn't be happy if I was a Japanese gamer, especially after considering how the launch was more for western tastes to begin with.

Seems like developers are waiting to see how Vita's sales turn out before committing, but without their commitment sales will never pick up.

Just some random thoughts from me, hopefully I didn't sound too negative - hope to see even more announcements leading up to a big E3.

An electronics supplier in the US seems to have found a way to make the PlayStation Store available to users around the globe through online sales, something oversea PlayStation 3, PSP and moreover PSVita owners will profit from.

Although Best Buy’s website does not actually imply it, the system at hand allows you to use their online purchasing system without owning a US credit card. This is “inteded” so that orders can be made internationally under the assumption that “products will be used in the US”.

To do so the page has listed a substitute billing address, which is one of their offices, users can enter so that products may be picked up in store or also delivered within the US. How users outside of the country can profit from this is simple, certain goods such as PSN wallet funds can be ordered as digital codes instead of physical cards. Users at PinoyPS.com have confirmed that this procedure works.

This method of accessing the US store is probably not how Sony wants things done, though with the ever growing online market, it seems that they might have to think of ways to make their content available internationally, as users increasingly find methods to bypass their networks barriers.

and to the empty promises, i think sony have both remoteplay and psx classics working, but rather wait to release them, so that people bother more about the new releases. they said that psx support is coming real soon. when sales slow down they will release it.

Nope it's second or third part - don't know exactly but I'm 100% sure that if they localise it it will be first time it's in english.
