Comments on reddit make it seem like the framerate is iffy.  There's also only 1v1 multiplayer.

I believe they mapped hoverboots to circle as well, which might be kinda awkward.

Haven't downloaded it yet myself, though.

1 v 1? No wonder it was a freebie with the PS3 version and not getting a physical release. >_

RIP Dad 25/11/51 - 13/12/13. You will be missed but never forgotten.

So, I don't really know what Starlight Inception is, but it's coming to Vita in August. Here's a teaser (full trailer coming on the 30th):

And here's a page telling us a bit of information about it:

"1st/3rd person free roaming space shooter". Yeah, I could be on board with this.

edit: A bit more info about the Vita version:

"I think it goes without saying that we need to support the accelerometer on the Vita (at least as an option) and that is what we’ve done. It uses a quaternion based system that allows you to set the resting point literally at any point you’d want while still behaving properly. As with most things it will need continued refinement as we polish other parts of the game. We are also experimenting with several different control configurations to make sure we have the best for every platform. Today I put together a quick prototype of one such control scheme that I’m going to run by everyone tomorrow and see if it is something we should pursue more or drop.

Performance is something that is very challenging when building a game such as this. We want the PC to be as high end as possible, while still maintaining very high quality on the other platforms. This means some custom art for each platform, custom texturing, and some crazy optimizations with where are memory is being used. We are now working on CPU and GPU profiling across the Vita and the PS3 to continue the effort of getting the best performance possible. The artists are probably going to be sick of me telling them to optimize their art by the end of this project."

Elite Vita!? :D

Nice to see that the "indie" crop is starting to stretch beyond the 2D shooters and platformers. As much as I love them, they need to keep the variety going on the system.

I'm excited.

Although that commercial kind of sucks, the voices are all mixed up on top of each other with the narration and cut off.

Lol, i thought Gravity Rush seemed cheap, wonder why they didnt announce the price drops

Very cool. Was just wondering how it was progressing. It's one of the few projects I've Kickstarted because it looked cool, the guy behind it seemed really passionate about it, and I was astonished at the thought of someone making a Vita game.
