Forums - Gaming Discussion - Ironic: Modern Warfare is also a casual friendly game.

The problem with CoD is how unbalanced it is.  If you got the game one day sooner then your opponent, then you automatically win because you have the gun that can kill him with half as many bullets.

IMO CoD is far more casual than many of the so called 'casual' games

You mean mainstream.

Same,
      both.

Mainstream and casual arent the same. Tons of casual games dont became mainstream at all. COD is very very popular, that's all.

You can be a casual game without being mainstream.

You can't be a mainstream game without being casual.

Because, if it's a "hardcore" game, it can't be mainstream, since it's too hardcore :P

Bet with Dr.A.Peter.Nintendo that Super Mario Galaxy 2 won't sell 15 million copies up to six months after it's release, the winner will get Avatar control for a week and signature control for a month.

Shocking revalations!

Time for hype

any point and click games are casual friendly.

since COD4, they kept removing physics and recoil bit by bit to the point that its not even satisfying to get a kill anymore.

i have no problem in them making games for casuals and making millions in the process but why cant they make a hardcore COD game for the fans who made COD popular in the first place?

I wonder how well cod will do in sales this year. Personally i wonder if the market is tired of the series and we may see a slight drop off in sales.
