Follow IGN? Ha, I would much rather listen to my own opinions, than the opinion of a single review. However, Game Rankings, and Metacritic, gave it 73%, which tells me to avoid it. A compilation of multiple reviews is stronger than your own opinion, especially if you don't have an opinion to begin with,for you may have yet to play the game. I don't want to spend $60 on a game that got mediocre reviews, for I could buy a game with much higher reviews, and expect something superior. But, to make every one happy, I'll play it one day, and see how good it is myself.

 

I could care less about a compilation of multiple reviews if I enjoyed the game.

Depends on whhat you like. Its actually very similar to the original in so far as the flying segments are concerned, save the camera angle. The problem is the boring platforming segments and the overall rushed feel of the game. If Sonic Team had spent about six more monthes on it, I'd say it'd be alot better. As it is though, its one of the best games Sonic Team's put out in a while, which isn't saying much.

I love the new NiGHTS game. I LOVE the music of the game, and the gameplay it just like the first. I think they did a great job on this title. This, for me, is the best game all year.

Agreed! It's not the best game of the year for me but it is definately the most suprisingly awesome game of the year.
