Homefront is headed for a flop, tbh having seen first 17 minutes of gameplay I can't say it leaves a great impression gameplay wise, storywise yeah, but gameplay wise it looks a COD-clone, even moreso than MoH, which had trully morbid handling.

The story looks compelling but apparently the length does not do it justice. A rental for me, if the game is worth it a buy later on.

Well I don't buy shooters for their campaign or story. I buy shooters for their multiplayer. Homefront's multiplayer looks interesting and fun and its something different than COD. I have BF:BC2 but I have so many hours in that game that I need something else to give me my FPS fix. Then of course when BF3 comes out I won't touch any other FPS for a looooooooong time.

Cool 50k for LA Noire already and still 10 weeks away! I sure hope that game does well.

THQ said they were over 200K pre orders so where are they?

Shooter fans are probably more cautious of new ips (that are fps) due to the over whelming amount of fps in the market already.
