Since I made a beer thread, I have to make this thread considering weed is my favorite drug.  It is a shame that USA still has it illegal.  Also, what the hell is up with it listed as Schedule 1 drug (grouped with heroin, etc).  Listed as no medical value yet numerous states have legalized it for medical use.  USA needs to grow the fuck up.  Marijuana is the safest drug on the planet.  This thread is to discuss all things about marijuana.  Also, I want you to list your favorite strain.  Mine probably now has to be Blue Dream.  However, Purple Haze will always have a special place in my heart.  What is your favorite smoking device?  Mine is a glass pipe or bong.  Steamrollers hit pretty heavy though and you can't forget about a 3 liter GB which can knock you on your ass.  Unfortunately, I have to quit right now to clean my system out since my current job is about to lay everyone off.  Marijuana might have made me lazy or eat too much (when stoned as hell) but least I can drive while stoned as shit.  The same can't be said about alcohol...  Also, weed needs to be cheaper.  KB is too damn overpriced.  Legalization would help solve this issue a little.  Prices would drop and then the stoners could stimulate the economy even more by having more spending money (helping the government through tax money).  The world would be a better place if everyone learned that this plant was a gift sent from the Gods.  Smoke one for me while I can't right now.

We're working on getting the laws changed, but it's a tough fight here in bibleland.  Hard to say what my favorite strain is since half the time the dealer doesn't even know.  I'd have to choose from times when people could tell me the name and I guess that would mean SnoCap or Lemon Deisel.

All wise choices on strains.  I don't think I have ever had Lemon Diesel but I have had Sour Diesel which is pretty damn good.  Purple diesel is also very nice.  Yes, time will only tell.  I think legalization will happen in my lifetime.  The ability to make tons of money on taxation when legalized should be proof enough. Sometimes I just feel this country is full of idiots/sheep.  We are so far in debt it is sad.  Yet instead of making money off marijuana we spend money trying to bust users/dealers.  One of the best documentaries I have ever seen would be The Union: The Business Behind Getting High.  I suggest everyone to see it.  Also, Reefer Madness book is a very good read (also covers porn industry and illegal immigration).  Adding that to my OP since it is very important.

So you can safely say you've never done any drugs?  Ever smoke a cigarette?  You've done a drug.  Ever drink a Coca-Cola?  You've done a drug.  Ever taken an advil?  You've done a drug.  Fact is marijuana is the safest drug on this planet.

They are drugs and caffeine is actually worse for the body.  You can overdose on caffeine but you can't overdose on marijuana. Fact is more people die from overdosing on over the counter medicine such as advil.  Find me a case where someone died from overdosing on marijuana.  Oh wait...  You can't...  Yes, I view those type of drugs as worse than weed because they are in fact worse.  Also, putting /end thread is a very lame response.  If you ask me people that post that are pathetic (I've lost any respect I've had for you oldschoolfool).

I need to ask you a question, have you ever seen somebody who smoked way too much pot in their lives?  Brain-dead is the only way I can possibly describe them.  Pretty much anything can be bad if you have way too much of it.

This isn't to say, however, that if taken in moderation, I see marijuana as any worse than the other things, because if done in moderation, there really are no known effects to it, just like with caffeine, advil , and anything else, there aren't going to be significant effects if you don't overkill it.  The same actually goes with alcohol too, overkill is bad for you, while 1-2 drinks per day they now say can actually be very healthy for you.

Edit: Also thought I'd mention, I do agree that it is a massive waste of money and time to have marijuana as an illegal drug...mostly for the reasons I listed above.

Also, I think the major problem a LOT of people have with marijuana is all of the studies that try indicating it is a gateway drug that leads to things such as heroine, smoking cigarettes, etc.
