Forums - Sony Discussion - One problem with PSP2 that everyone seems to ignore

The top/bottom pics are showing the PSP2 nipples to be protruding.

Normally, I'd welcome protruding nipples any day, but won't this be caught in your clothing and eventually damage those nubs?

ah, this is only under the impression that you keep your handheld gaming systems in your pockets no? personally this baby will be going around in a case( and also within a bag)on the few instances i carry it out of my residence. but yea it may serve to be a problem for pocket carriers

Maybe they will implement some push mechanism to get them in when you're not using them. Well, hopefully, cause yeah, they seem to be in a fairly fragile position.

I think I heard from a recent preview that you can click in the sticks and then click them again to make them pop back out. I'm not sure were I heard it, but I remember hearing it in a couple of preview podcasts. If I'm wrong, then they should probably pay me for that really good idea.

Bet with Conegamer and AussieGecko that the PS3 will have more exclusives in 2011 than the Wii or 360... or something.

not a problem - it won't fit into trousers pockets anyway

You must have some big pockets!

And theoretically, this would've also been a problem with the PSP's nub.

Sounds like you're grasping at straws to me (to find flaws with the PSP2). Only issues I can see are short battery life and the still unannounced price tag.

Looks like its Fits in a pocket pretty well

Not a Problem for me, I Rarely Take my Hand-helds out of the house and when i do, i don't put them in my pockets anyway.

Book - Malazan Book of the Fallen series

Game - Metro Last Light

TV - Deadwood

Music - Forest Swords

Just like the original PSP, the NGP really isn't something you'd jam in your back pocket. For one thing, it's considerably larger than the typical smartphone.

And while I understand there are those who *Decree* "back pocket portability" is the objective measure of portability; it isn't.

It's more like something that fits into an inside coat or jacket pocket like a checkbook or address book (neither of which anyone really carries anymore). Not an issue in one of these pockets.

I would imagine most would carry the NGP inside some sort of bag, clamshell, softcase, or protective sleeve. Those who don't really have no one to blame but themselves if they drop it, sit on it, etc.
