As we all know the PS3 is getting the third installment in both of its biggest exclusive FPS franchises this year.  Both games look amazing but only one can be the winner of most hype on VgChartz.  So which is it?  The epic battle on the Helghan world the I.S.A. faces or the world ending invasion of the Chimera?  Watch the trailers below and decide for yourself!

we dont know yet much  about , apparently it has health bars :(. but everything else is better.

it will be close, meta wise i have no idea but when it comes to user opinions it will be close.

No Socom 4

its not a FPS.  This thread is just about the 2 big FPS titles.

Plus honestly I think Socom 4 looks horrible......but thats for a different thread.

Hoping for Resistance 3!

The title of the thread says shooter.

The OP says FPS.  But yeah I though about doing Uncharted and Socom and other shooters but then I realized Uncharted would win by a mile and it would be less interesting lol.  So I decided it would be closer if we just focused on the 2 big FPS games this year.

I voted for KZ3, however, I'm really excited for R3 (hoping it is more like FOM than R2).  I'm sure I will be very busy playing both.

Killzone 3, with all respect to insomniac. KZ3 is all that is awesome in KZ2 plus a lot more...

Wow haha we're at a draw as of right now, just goes to show how awesome both franchises are. There is no decisive winner.

I Love both the Killzone and Resistance franchise's. I have been playing both since thier first installment and I will be getting both at launch. KZ3 Helghast edition and hopefully insomniac will release a special edition to Resistanc 3.

Anyways i picked Killzone 3 mainly because of the setting. And i find the story of Killzone more interesting than Resistance.
