Forums - Gaming Discussion - You know what I want to see? A New San fransisco Rush

I want new Extreme G, and new Revolt games. Oh and a new Star Wars Pod Racer game! These along with the early Burnouts were some of the few racing games to please me.

I played Extreme G to DEATH! It's a shame that the battle mode sucked though. And the pod racer game... I really didn't see the big deal on that one.

I'm a mod, come to me if there's mod'n to do.

Chrizum is the best thing to happen to the internet, Period.

Serves me right for challenging his sales predictions!

Bet with dsisister44: Red Steel 2 will sell 1 million within it's first 365 days of sales.

You know what I want? NFS Most Wanted 2. Most Wanted was definitely one of the best racers I've ever played, and it's actually a big reason why I want a 360 if you can believe it.

San Francisco Rush was awesome back in the day, but I don't think it'd be me cup o' tea anymore.

Well Pod Racer was just really different for me, completely different experience compared to the other racing games I owned. It was also my first racing game in which you could modify and upgrade your racer. Not to mention the game is set in the Star Wars universe at Episode 1 times with all the planets.

And they had good detail with the planets and how they were to play, like huge swamp things trying to get you, or even those Sand People tank things. At a certain stretch you would hear the Sand People cry, and then they'd shoot at you, which was always a buzz. There were some parts with anti gravity allowing you to get really high speeds which was cool, and I REALLY liked how there were a LOT of multiple paths in each race. Oh yea and how so many racers could get destroyed before finishing the race.

Yes, I loved that game :P

I played both Rush 1 and 2 for COUNTLESS hours years ago. I would sit down with my brother, see who could get the highest stunt scores. We would also race together and try to get the 1-2 finish every time by teaming up and forcing the computer into walls and such. One of my best memories with my brother when we were younger.

I haven't played Excite Truck yet but it sounds similar. Also I agree, more arcade racers! A new Micro Machines on the Wii would be great too.

I loved that game too. Sadly it's a movie licenced game. Meaning now the movie is forgotten it will probably never get a sequel unless they make a new Star Wars movie with pod racing... wich is even less likely.

As long as it's nothing like Cruis'n, it could be good.

San Fransico Rush on the N64 was the most fun I have ever played on racing game to date. I never owned San Francisco Rush 2049, only rented, but I had a ton of fun playing with my brother and sisters on the trick competion, going off huge ramps and spinning in circles so fast and praying to land it.

I just saw some LA Rush clips, I never knew this game existed. It's exactly what I said the new rush game would be, unbelievable!

I think Nintendo could turn excite truck into a rush style game. With different cars and a city setting and a stunt mode.

San Francisco Rush is easily one of the most entertaining racers on any Nintendo console ever. I'd love to see it ressurrected!
