Neogeo makes its long awaited debut on PSN and all I gotta say is you have got to be freaking kidding me!!! 9 bucks per game???? I thought they would leave that crap on WiiWare, SNK those games arent all that, who in their right mind would spend that on a old ass game that they could get in compilations for the same price??? Ok so it has online that makes it slightly better than the WiiWare ones but not that much. Maybe if they throw KOF 2002 or 11 on their i might get those but im not feeling this. After the crap storm that was KOF 12 my faith in SNK is shaking, 13 better be great

I don't get the fanfare, either.  What we have here are games that were moderately popular in arcades for a system/arcade machien that was miles ahead of what the other home consoles of the time could produce....but since that time, technology has advanced to the point where these former graphical powerhouses look like crap.  And without the game design of a Nintendo or Konami or Sega, they fail to impress on the gameplay front, too.  And since the systems were almost nonvexistent in people's homes, the nostalgia factor isn't even there.

On the bright side, you're getting games that once cost $200 for just $9.

considering the steam gams prices now with the holidays cuts,and that I bough Lf2 2 and TF2 for 9 bucks, a neogeo game for the same price? PFFF

SNK really needs to pull their crap together, i am really surprised that they have not gone under yet, how are they keeping the lights on???? Capcom should just buy them and maybe then we will get a respectable fighting game from them like in the good old days

on a side note I have to eat crow when it comes to WiiWare.  I thought the pricing for there games were just Ninty being greedy pricks but now I see that 3rd parties have more to do with pricing of these "classics" than I originally thought.

YOU DID!  Is Front Mission 3 on the US PSN!?  Instant purchase, if it is!  I traded my copy towards the purchase of my PS2 and regretted it ever since!  I used to love that game!!

NeoGeo games? On PSN? I dont know about the rest of you but, what the hell for? I say, mame is your friend

par for the course for snk's stuff,garou and samurai spirits 3 are 10 on live, though oddly enough the enhance king of fighters 98 and 2002 are also 10, really raises a question about what playmore is thinking, maybe they're still trying to recover from the wierdness with call of duty last year

though maybe they'll actually offer some of their really good stuff that isn't on their collections like Blazing Star, Sengoku 3, pulstar, kizuna encounter, or Prehestoric Isle, If you haven't played them before those  will justify 9 dollars each, though I doubt they'll offer anything that can't be found on a collection, nor will they offer full access to mvs settings, which in some instances drastically alters the content offered in games

for example Magical Drop 2 3 have individualized voices, endings, and an additional mode when set to Japanese mode, but generic voices, and no endings when set to US or Euro modes, and viewpoint actually has to have the 2 player co-op manually enabled.

@d21lewis  I sure did say Front Mission 3, didnt see that one coming, good job Sony & Square Enix, take note VC this is how its done ( they did have Mario Party 2 so all hope is not lost)
