I think in August the Wii will catchup the 360 then on october the 360 will have even numbers because Halo 3 and GTA VI untill january 2008 with a Wii at first place 360 at second and PS3 at third January 2009 first Wii second PS3 third 360

 John, you do realise it is May already and Wii is still more than 3M behind? So selling 1M each month will just get it to the current amount XBox 360 has sold at the end of July. Do you really think they can add enough units above 1M per month to undo all units XBox 360 will sell during this period as well? At the current sales rate they will need to sell around 1.3M units per month then. Personally that seems a bit high to me, August seems like a better guess to me.

 I really don't see the Wii passing the 360 until late 2007 or maybe even 2008. The 360 is really gearing up to sell a lot of units over the next six months:

Forza 2, Mass Effect, Blue Dragon, Halo 3, GTA IV, and Bioshock will all be system movers. GTA IV and Halo 3 will probably sell 1 million 360s between themselves.

While I believe the Wii will ultimately pass the 360 in overall sales, I think most of you are really underrating the upcoming 360 lineup and overrating the Wii lineup. While Nintendo has good games coming, they still haven't even confirmed which ones will make it to shelves before the holiday season. I'm sure we'll see Mario or Metroid, but that might be it and even Metroid might be pushed to 2008.
