I don't think the Wii will be up in terms of year on year sales. But I'm expecting strong sales mainly in EMEAA because of the new bundles (maybe a record, who knows...). Moreover, I'm expecting strong sales in January and February because we will have the release of Mario Sports Mix in Americas/EMEAA and the release of The Last Story in Japan.

Why not? America has a lot more software and momentum than last year. It could be up YOY. Japan seems to be the only weak link here and I'm sure DKCR can remedy that to an extent.

I hope I'm wrong, but I have been tracking the weekly sales in the last couple of moths and most of the times the Wii is down year on year. It's sad, but it's true. I would like to see the console braking new records again just to prove the analysts that Move and Knect can't stole the Wii marketing by releasing tons of copies of the Wii games.

xD. I've been doing exactly the same for months now too. Didn't you notice that the Wii was up YOY in Americas this week. And significantly too? Japan wasn't half bad either. EMEAA brought the average down but, as we both know, it's gonna climb on top of the world for the holidays with the bundles. Wii definitely stands a chance and it will almost surely be up YOY for at least one week.
You just have to B_E_L_I_E_V_E, :P.
Besides, it can be explained why Wii can be down through the year but up in the holidays for the year without mentioning the lackof software in the year and the huge influx of software for the holidays. Most of the people who really wanna buy Wiis already have them. Those who don't will only buy it when the opportunity is best. The holidays are a time of huge discounts so everyone who hasn't bought a Wii will be much more likely to buy one than durring the year. Also, generally, it is a time for giving gifts. This is also perfect for those who want to buy a Wii, but are waiting for an oppurtunity.
Even Iwata says so, xD.
