It's less reality TV and more like the most entertaining job application process ever. For quite possibly one of the worst jobs in the game production industry.

The Ultimate Fighter ("reality TV") is kind of the same thing; tryouts for a UFC contract, while being similarly entertaining. Except the contestants get to hit each other during cage matches.
