Forums - Microsoft Discussion - Why Reach is Better than Black Ops

Reach said:

More Skill Gap , Much more Fun , More Competitive , LagLess , Badass Ranks , Commendations and Daily Challenges.

Black Ops is a GREAT Game but hasnt the awesome conections that Halo Reach has... Black Ops suffers from some LAG not much. Black Ops is much easier to play and the game is FULL of BS , its much better than Mw2 but Bungie once again delivers the best Multiplayer of the year.

Reach is the best online game. Period.

speaking about US , what about the europian and middle east connections???

Just have to point out that RDR does not have more people online and never has....can't say anything about GT5 having more then Halo Reach but I doubt it does TBH

well ur probably right about red dead but mw2 on xbox has 150k players right now and gt5 has a bit more than double that. The max i've seen with for reach is 150k-200k after christmas and i'm guessing the ps3 version of mw2 should have more than 200k as i don't play the ps3 version anymore cause of all the hackers!

Really GT5 has over 300k people online at once? Thats pretty sick.

I like BOs better, dont really like the floaty mechanics of Reach and the maps seem a little dull to me. Cant comment on Campaign cause i havent played it.

Because Bungie \o/

Reach is better because I LIKE IT AND I'M THE BIGBONGDEMON. Period.

I don't get how people think Reach has more skill gap. All the time I see at the end of BO games people who go 30 kills and single digit deaths who are great and bad kids who go like 3 kills and 20 deaths. I see as much, if not more, skill gap in BO.

I don't like Black Ops but I will defend it to some extent.

I haven't liked a CoD game since Call of Duty 4.

I own both and play both. Was on a Black Ops binge for a while, but Reach is the better game. More to do and what not. Plus it seems to have a much friendlier community, at least the people I've played with.

My impression is that Halo's popularity has dropped immensly in the last couple of years. Am I rght?
