COD4 was the best shooter, but the 2nd place shooter won game of the year? Yea, that makes sense to me.

This entire awrds show is ridiculous, did ya notice how all of the games of the year were 360 shooters (aside from Mass Effect, which never had a chance). I've hated the Spike VGA since its beginning.

Such variety in the runners for GOTY is unheard of. I mean, 3 shooters out 4 games(btw basically all are on 360), WTF were they thinking? These awards automatically fail.

Bioshock is a great game but i think SMG is better and it should have been nominated
