Forums - Sony - Can Heavy Rain: Move Edition be played WITHOUT Move?

I got a bunch of money and now I can buy a lot of games (YAY! :D)

Heavy Rain is one of the games I want to buy... and there's Heavy Rain (standard edition?) and Heavy Rain: Move Edition.

I don't want to buy Move... and I want to know whether HR:ME can be played WITHOUT Move or not... because if I can play it without Move, I'll buy that version instead of the "normal" HR since it already includes all patches that were released and I hate having to download patches before playing a game and my internet connection is becoming crappier and crappier with each passing day xD

So... can I play it without Move? does it include all patches (I suppose yes?)? or do I have to buy the "Standard" edition?

Thank You in advance! :P

yes heavy rain move edition can be played without move. only difference between the original and move dition is that in move edition you get extra content and you don't need to update

i'm pretty sure you can since there is a "Switch to Dualshock" option in the Normal Heavy Rain version after i updated it.

edit : though i gotta say, you will regret not playing it with the move controls, they add a lot to the game.

its so much better with the Move

Of Course That's Just My Opinion, I Could Be Wrong

I should point out that it is still better with Move, but the more people playing the better, whatever choice of control

I have to say, with Move it's much more immersive and "real". It makes more fun and for people who haven't played it yet Move might be the perfect control scheme, also Move can shine Heavy Rain as it can show  what it is capable off and how it is different from the Wii. (I have the feeling this argument will never die down)

Although I also have to say, I'm not bothering to play it again just becasue it has Move support. As much I loved HR, it has virtually no replay value once you have seen all endings.

playing right now: Xenoblade Chronicles

Hype-o-meter, from least to most hyped:  the Last Story, Twisted Metal, Mass Effect 3, Final Fantasy XIII-2, Final Fantasy Versus XIII, Playstation ViTA

bet with Mordred11 that Rage will look better on Xbox 360.

I see... but I don't want to buy Move :P So I'll just play it with my DualShock 3 :P

I couldn't buy it today :( it'll have to be next week T_T

A wasted weekend I could've spent gaming T_T lol :P

Can't wait for next week! ^_^
