360 is 3D capable, just MS aren't pushing it and don't have a vested interest in it like Sony (with their 3D TVs). They're pretty similar in power and wasn't Avatar in 3D on the 360? (I'm genuinely uncertain, but I thought they pushed 3D on the Avatar game as much as in the film). The 3D effect should be near identical on both systems.
Also, DVD vs Blu-Ray for 3D? Makes no difference. It's still using identical game assets to display the 3D image so 3D doesn't require any extra storage space relative to a normal 2D game.
