but seriously: I've got to support him here - there aren't any shortages ... at least where I live. I was in a lot of shops lately - mostly Media Markt / Saturn (which are probably the biggest retailers in Germany when it comes to consumer electronics) and all of them had plenty 360s in stock. So yeah ... call me a "sony fanboy" all you want, that's what I saw.
btw: I just checked - amazon has them in stock as well. (poor baby seal :/)

2. Just because you can get on in your area does not mean there is not a shortage, for example, christmas 07 I worked at target, we had plenty of wii stock by new years, that does not mean there was not a shortage of wiis.

I agree, having no shortages in one area doesn't necessarily mean that there aren't any in another one. (Even though you could always buy via Internet, but there are still a lot of people who don't use the Internet for shopping.)
I just think it's ridiculous that people basically call snfr a liar just because his information doesn't fit their agenda. Be biased all you want - everybody is more or less - but don't accuse people of lying when you have no way to prove it.

People call snfr a liar because it is obvious that he completely prefers one console, but regardless he enters a thread about the success of the 'opponent' console and tries to undermine that success. Since the information is coming straight from MS, and we have sales data here to back it up, I doubt MS are simply pulling stats from their ass, and the fact that snfr has Sony ads and games spammed in his sig makes his contribution to this thread completely absurd.
For the record i have a PS3 and 360 and love both of them :)
