The environments look amazing, the actual fighting part, meh, not so much.  Though it seems to me to have sort of a Fallout 3 / Diablo feel to it (based on that video) will have to research further

mhm enslaved doesn't come close to Uncharted 2, its almost as good looking as heavenly sword though, their previous title.

By looking at youtube vids it's always hard to fully judge graphics, but ok..., right now it doesn't look better than Killzone 3 or Crysis 2 to me. It's definitly a huge step forward (mainly because of better lighting IMO) and it'll probably end up as the best looking 360 game to date, but "best graphics this gen"? No... definitly not, especially because of Naughty Dog and Sony Santa Monica. To be honest, right now I don't even expect it to be better looking than God of War 3.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to this.

I was listening to PSM3 podcasts and they were saying that Enslaved nearly looked on par with Uncharted 2 and that overall the game was extremely impressive. It look's like it's going to be pretty good.

OT: I love Gears, but I haven't been impressed with the presentation since the first one. Gears 3 looks extremely similar to Gears 2. I'm just not seeing what all the fuss is about. Hopefully that changes by release.

Why? Why do some 360 fans have to do this to themselves? I think it's a pretty much settled matter that a PS3 optimised game engine delivers the best console graphics. There's still some potential out there for a multiplat or 360 optimised engine to show up the PS3 engines, but there's more to sqeeze out of PS3 engines yet. 360 is looking to be 1/2 a step behind. Part of it, I think, is that the Sony 1st parties can feed off each other, Naughty Dog, Santa Monica, Sucker Punch, and also Insomniac, a former 2nd party, too.

It's no big, there's no loss in game quality, or gameplay experience or immersiveness. 360 is set to have the biggest selling HD games, and the best selling exclusive HD games this generation, and neither are going to be the best games visually. It is what it is, just like the fact that Xbox was graphically better than PS2.
