Forums - Gaming Discussion - EA announces CREATE a sandbox create, share and play game

This actually seems like something that would do better on 3DS / DS / PSP than on the consoles, but they'll probably sell 2-3 million units if its any good at all.

Kinda missing the point.

One of the greatest of LittleBigPlanet's strengths is the ease with which you can share content.  It's not just about creating content, but rather having a large audience and feedback available for any content you create, as well as an incredibly robust selection of content for those who'd rather play than create themselves.  It's YouTube-esque streaming and rating system is what has given the game the life and longevity it has.

From what I've seen, this game only allows you to create levels and games for yourself.  It doesn't allow you to share content, and even if it did, you would be unable to share content across platforms.  This is one of the reasons Media Molecule planned for LittleBigPlanet to be exclusive to one platform from the getgo.

Yes that's a great point to but if I have no main character (or a little bit of story even) I can relate to in any way shape or form when it comes to Platforming Games then I might as well pull out my legos and dominos  (Heck I can dig into a gabarge can and make my own adventure building stuff) and make my own adventure lol. This is a my opinion btw.

It's just like an RPG with no story or defined goal. Pointless.
