Meh...

I have no interest in multiplayer, split-screen or otherwise. I'll rent it, and I'll probably beat it. I hated the original though, as I played it after Half-Life, and it just felt old-fashioned and slow paced when compared to HL.

The original Golden Eye was single analog. 

Mind-blowingly bad controls that ruined an otherwise great game.

I am super stoked. Who cares if its got a different actor for Bond??

Gameplay is what counts. This game looks pretty good so far. A billion miles better than Conduit 2.

I'm assuming no IR in the splitscreen. I can imagine it would be difficult to do aiming in splitscreen because you only have 1/4 of a screen to aim at.

i heard peirce brosman is not in the game what would the game be without him, he was 007 at the time and should remain the same, how would they remake a game and leave out the person that played it the main character.

Yeah, I dont know about you guys but I dont care which "actor" I play as long as its Bond Im fine.

And for an action game I'd imagne the Daniel Craig Bond would be better suited to the game than the Pierce Brosnan Bond... if your going to get particular.

Oh yeah and I'll be picking this game up for sure.

And there were a lot of people who were fans of the Sean Connery movies rejoicing that a more physical Bond was back in the role after the last two major actors (Connery and Moore) played suave but not exactly intimidating versions of the character.

Unless you are referring to the hair colour complaints, which were just silly.

But anyway, it's a FPS. The vast majority of the time you don't see who you're playing. It hardly seems like a huge deal.

I don't care at all about the Bond actor. Oddjob is in the game! Who cares about Bond?! Seriously it looks great. Some people say that it looks like Call of Duty, and it's ok with me. I don't like war games, but the CoD syste is good, so a CoD Goldeneye would be great!
