Yeah its a really good looking game.  I sometimes wish it was open world just so i could explore it because everything looks so good.

 

Has there been any info about it yet? Like how long it'll be?

Will it just be the same standard episode design as the main game ? Or is it something completely new?

i think the first dlc will be released in 48 days.

Looks about the same as all the other environments, however this is to be expected. Actually by that pic you cannot really tell that it is from dlc.

I wonder what the dlc will be. 

I also wonder if they are going to improve it over the game, graphically speaking.

Yeah it's from DLC. Not only is it official at Alan Wake froums. But it's definately no location in the game currently. Trust me I know. ;)

And yes I believe they are adding new polys and animation to the faces for the first DLC. The huge improvements may make 2nd dlc or might be saved for Alan Wkae 2. Whatever the improvements they are big. Remedy said they have loads of extra stuff they can do now with the engine.

Yeah it's from DLC. Not only is it official at Alan Wake froums. But it's definately no location in the game currently. Trust me I know. ;)

 

It looks to me like its just at the bottom of the hill where you go into the bookshop with the sheriff.  I think the level is called Night Life in Bright Falls.  Although there's a barrier at the bottom of the hill in that level so you couldnt actually get to the place this picture is taken.

I'm pissed off with this game because I just finished the game on Nightmare and missed ONE manuscript. I have 105 out of a hundred and fucking six. *uses Rage*

Anyhoo I very much want this DLC. Any word on the length? The length of an episode would be good, that gives us at least an hour, hour and a half.

I hope its not one of the Nightmare manuscripts. I missed 3 but luckily I can get them on the other difficulties.

I would guess that its like the 7th episode of the game, but it is free so whatever the length is you can't complain.

It's a Nightmare one but I know where to find it now. I just didn't know when I was actually playing the game, lol. I need to replay the first half of Episode 6 to get it which I don't feel like doing right now.

And I think the sales aren't bad at all. Consider this is a new IP with no advertising at all and whatnot, 400K since release is a good solid number.
