What If Activision Had Made TF2?
Hell yeah, Valve is GOD | 22 | 70.97%
No, I want overpriced DLC | 9 | 29.03%
Total: | 31 |
If Activision had made it, we'd be at TF8 by now, none of them would have anywhere near as much content as Valve's TF2 has.
As a PC gamer Valve takes care of things and I am happy. If I were a PS3 guy though Id be a bit pissed cause they are dicks to PS for no reason I can think of. I am VERY worried about how Activision will handle Starcraft 2.
Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.
Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.

That was pretty funny. It's bugging me to hear about publishers charging so much for DLC as well as attacking used sales on consoles. I can just imagine Activision releasing $15 map packs on a subscription based online multiplayer (ie - Call of Duty) with a $10-20 activation code if you bought it used.
I just hope that Valve can keep it up. Speaking of TF2, it's impressive that the game has had over 100 updates with tweaks, new maps, gameplay modes, weapons, hats and achievements. Not only that, it supports dedicated servers, mods and you can pick up TF2 for only $20 or even get the Orange Box (which includes TF2) for $30.
I don't know about the 'Valve is GOD' option. Sure, they're doing some good things, but I'd want them to keep having stuff like competition so they can keep improving Steam and making awesome games. Speaking of which, when are they going to release some damn Episode 3 information?
While I'm at it... where the heck is the Black Mesa mod?

and each one has 2 DLC levels of the last game, for a wonderful price of $9.99.
For once i support Shios thread.
