Forums - General Discussion - So who's watching the final episode of LOST?

I hope Ben allows the whole world to die just so he can have the island to himself.

Nov 2016 - NES outsells PS1 (JP)

Don't Play Stationary 4 ever. Switch!

Around the Network

I'll watch it. A bit later than it's on though, due to exams.

I will be. And here are some mysteries I'll be hoping I get an explanation for:

Why or how was the smoke able to kill Mr. Echo,

If the smoke can't get off the Island and Jacob can't appear as different people, what were the visions that occurred off the island (Jack saw his dad once and Kate saw Clair).

The Numbers are BAD!... why?

Walt. Seriously what was the deal with that?

Why, during their last moments alive with each other, would they not speak Korean.

Serves me right for challenging his sales predictions!

Bet with dsisister44: Red Steel 2 will sell 1 million within it's first 365 days of sales.

I seriously doubt we'll get an explanation for that, but it struck me as very odd, too.

That's actually the answer I'm waiting the most for.

I know they can't just leave it as the serial number on the hatch since those numbers were on the cave wall too.  Actually, I hope they explain all the funny goings'on with the hatch in general.  The Egyptian letters, the food drop, the black light mural, the numbers, why those specific numbers worked, what has the Dharma initiative been doing since they left, ect.

They have a lot of explaining to do in a short 2 1/2 hours.

I think we have explanations for 2 of those things.

The food drops were just an automated Dharma procedure, something that would go on even after Dharma was done. I forget what exactly tripped it, though I recall it was in the episode where the food in the hatch ran out.

As for "What has the Dharma initiative been doing since they left. The answer is nothing. They didn't leave. In the original timeline they were still on the Island when the others (with Ben's help) gassed them all to death. It was in the new timeline that they left and then couldn't come back since the Island got blown up.

But seriously. What was the deal with Walt?

I think they had an idea with Walt, but had to deop it because of his voice breaking. I doubt it will be explained.

Yeah, I'll watch it.

I'll enjoy it more if faux-Locke (Smokey) gets capped and Desmond miraculously saves Jin and Sun from their horrible fates.

I'm going to say screw spoiler tags because they're annoying and if you're in this thread, you should know these questions or not care.

I know Dharma stayed in the island in the form of Ben's group, I'm just wondering who upkeeps the automated drops?  Where did it come from?  I have to assume it came from off the island but where off the island?  How did they get it there?

And yeah, they just kind of forgot about Walt.  I remember thinking in season 2 or 3 that the ending was going to be some sort of standoff between Walt and Aaron...and then they just kind of wrote Walt out.

Also, I'm thinking Ben will become the new smoke monster while attempting to kill Locke (I assume it will be like a Lord of the Rings The One ring thing-- the smoke monster can only be unmade where it was made).  Then, instead of the smoke wanting to leave, he'll want to stay but keep everyone else off.

i only watched the first two seasons...maybe now is the time to continue my quest!
