Forums - Gaming Discussion - IGN's Lost planet 2 PS3/360 comparison contradicts there review

Earlier this week or the last week, IGN released there review for LOST PLANET 2 for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. Suprisingly they dropped the ps3 score because they said the game was graphicly inferior to the point that it hurt the game overall. Now they released a comparison video comparing both games in motion, and it seems the PS3 version looks "fairly" better than the 360 version.. here are some user comments on the comparison:

"

They gave the Ps3 version of THIS a lower score, but not a lower score for the 360 FF13?

Fail.

Too bad the game isn't that great on a fundamental level."
"
Not only that but in the videos the ps3 has better AA than the 360. So they have a huge base who trusts their reviews and they give corrupted reviews for whose sake? What do they earn with false advertisement?"
you be the judge..

You didn't provided links and I can't be bothered googling, because I know I'm right

The reviews were done by two different people

All that this proves is that reviews and comparisons are subjective measures of a person's opinion, not objective measures of quality

Edit - slightly misinterpreted

The difference isn't huge but it looks better on the PS3.
What the hell is IGN thinking? Whoever reviewed the game is a biased son of a gun.

I agree, this is stupid sauce from IGN.

sigh at these graphics whore.

^ I hope you are talking about IGN.

You really cant tell from that video? The PS3 version has no aliasing, has more tearing, and the frame rate is messed up probably running at sub 20 frames..

The only difference I see is that the 360 version is brighter and bit washed out.....so why deduct points IGN?

ign is a joke.
