At home I can use that along with No Script. Works great.
But at work I cannot use anything but IE. Which means I'm at the mercy of the banner ad's.

Those have been coming up a lot for me lately, as well as the fixthemnow.com ad which hijacks the browser window, resizes my firefox, and bypasses the ad blocker to open a popup anyway.
I'm really getting fed up with this.
Dryden, Get the add on for firefox called No Script. It will prevent that from happening. Just for some sites you will need to allow them to run some scripts. ;)
