I feel so sorry for these people. I've owned every console made since the Snes except for the Ps3 and the last time i enjoyed being a gamer this much was playing Mario Kart 64 and Goldeneye on N64. It's just so refreshing to have a good console with half-decent graphics and the greatest control scheme ever. Granted plenty of devs have shoveled thier crap onto the Wii and botched the controls, but there are still plenty of worthwhile games. Especially Prime 3, proving the Wii can control a FPS game better than dual-analog ever could. All these games are great:

Zelda: Twilight Princess
Resident Evil 4 (may be a GC game, but the controls/graphics upgrade make it worth a re-purchase)
Metroid Prime 3
Super Paper Mario
Super Mario Galaxy
Mario Strikers Charged Football
Tony Hawk Downhill Jam
Sonic and the Secret Rings
Battalion Wars 2
RE: Umbrella Chronicles

As well as SSBB, Geometry Wars, Medal of Honor: Heroes 2, Mario Kart Wii, Manhunt 2 and Nights 2 all due out soon. I can't even think of that many good games on the 360 or Ps3 AT ALL. They have thier good games obviously, but just not enough. The Wii graphics are much better than last gen (provided the dev isn't lazy) and now that the devs are used to how the controls can work properly (Prime 3) games are going to become a lot less gimmicky and more and more realisitc. The Wii is a great console, i feel so sorry for people who are missing out on gems like Twilight Princess, Galaxy , Prime 3 and RE4 because they think it's a gimmicky kids box.

I find Lemon a nice pallet refresher... as for the first 24 years of my life I wouldn't order cake unless it was chocolate.  Whenever I get a little sick of chocolate a nice lemon cake mixed in refreshes things.

Same thing with icecream. (Minus the lemon.)  I get nothing but chocolate icecream dipped with chocolate coating... broken up by chocolate milkshakes.  I never get sick of chocolate milkshakes.

in all seriousness, i think there is an important point to this threat.

which is better, pie or cake?

and also, should the realm of the pie be exclusively for savoury foods?

personally i love a good steak and kidney pie, followed by a nice slab of christmas cake.

I actually have a good recipie for german lemon cake with a glaze made out of confectioners sugar, lemon juice and burbon

 it's basically a pound cake with lemon glaze to sweeten it but I find adding the burbon gives it a nice smooth taste that isn't overpowering.

 

oh yeah by the way
