Should Killzone 3 or Resistance 3 get this years holiday Release?

Killzone 3 49 41.18%

Resistance 3 70 58.82%

Total:119

This is pretty easy from a business perspective from Sony.
Killzone 2 has sold 2.26mill
resistance 2 has sold 1.86 mill
Kz2 is developed by a first party, R2 by an independent studio.
Therefore, according to pachter, sony make 48$ on each kz2 copy sold, but resistance 2 sony only makes about 38$ per disc.
So it would make better business sense to put kz3 on the market in winter

im a little surprised that resistance is leading the vote. but then again i voted for it. its just to early for a new killzone.

then again why not both.

I can see Resistance 3 getting a holiday release instead of Killzone 3 just because it's too soon for KZ3 to get a release.

I would say that at E3 Insomniac Games will present Resistance 3 for release early next year and a new IP for release this Christmas.

Killzone 3 is late 2011 material.

I think you havent understood properly, i said killzone 3 should to come out, not resistance 3.

I voted for Resistance 3 because though personally I want them both to happen but Insomniac has had a cycle of releasing a game a year with a rotation of one year Resistance and the next year with Ratchet and Clank and so this year it's time for Resistance 3.

I suspect a Resistance 3 November 2010 and a Killzone 3 March or May Release 2011
