I wish this was on PS3 :(
Day one buy. I haven't been as excited for an MGS game since MGS3. Big Boss is just that awesome.

If it's any consolation, rumor is that the next console MGS game following Rising, will be a direct continuation of the Peace Walker story line.
But considering that the MGS4 team is supposedly working on Rising, it may be a long time before that happens unless Kojima Productions has another development team that can develop for the PS3.
Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker just received a perfect score from Japanese magazine Famitsu and it'll see release in North America in the coming months. Dubbed as Metal Gear Solid 5 by Kojima several times, it sounds like he had the concept for the game written and ready for a long while. Hopefully, he did the same work with upcoming console Metal Gear release, Metal Gear Solid: Rising. |
I'm sure I read somewhere that Kojima was not working on Rising; his team is responsible for that project.
I remember that Kojima talked that the next game will evolve Mecha or something like that, it will not be a MGS.
