Hey guys, I'm having a bit of a problem. I purchased the standard edition of Splinter Cell: Conviction for the Xbox 360, and I'm having freezing issues. The game freezes at the exact same part everytime on the second level. I go to the gun cache, purchase whatever, and as soon as I make the turn to go around the corner, it freezes. :(

Apparently at least one other guy is having the same problem because he uploaded it to YouTube.

I google searched and a couple of people are having freezing issues in some other places, specifically the "Washington Monument Level". I'm not sure if all the freezing is due to the update everyone is prompted to download, or if it is the game itself.

Did you install to hard drive?

I just read from go to your harddrive and clear your system cache and it will fix your problem

If you dont know how to do this, go to system settings, select memory, then Harddrive, then thee should be a opction in there somewhere to clear your system cache, this will fix the problem, then replay your level, good luck

No problem, glad it worked out for you, nothing worse then buying a new game and not being able to play it for what ever reason.

This is the same exact thing that happened to me on Bioshock and clearing the cache worked on that too.

how is the rest of the game?

That guy just rushed thorugh that shit... those fuckers will come follow you and if he had had it on normal he wouldn't have made it 3 steps into that room after kickign in the door with two people shooting him... on realistic a shot or two will take you out

edit: btw installing on harddrive may help... I haven't had any freezing problems
