I'd rather play with cheats and and give myself unlimited money and health just to take part in the largest battles possible.

You dont have to cheat to take part in large battles.  If you become a vassal there regular battles involving several hundred soldiers when your country goes to war.  I know when I cheat at games, I end up not having to quit because I'm not having any fun.

Yea, but if you have a big army while being a vassal, you get an even bigger battle :P

It all depends on the game for cheating. Some games like Roller Coaster Tycoon, for example, are worth it because I couldn't care less about winning the scenarios and would rather just get unlimited funds and everything unlocked to just build and decorate a park how I want.

I agree with that, Roller Coaster Tycoon was loads of fun when I cheated and spent tons of money on large and unsafe coasters.  But for Mount and Blade, I think I'll have more fun working my way up to king and experiencing big battles that matter more then.

Were there many other people to play with when you went online? Are there different online game modes?

Same  question to you  ManusJustus or anyone else who has chekced it out.

There are almost always full 64 player servers online, but I can only play US servers because the European and Asian ones get too laggy for me.

Game Modes:
Battle - two teams, everyone has one life
Seige - capture or defend the castle, respawns
Deathmatch - respawns
Team Deathmatch - respawns
Capture the Flag - respawns
Fight and Destroy - haven't played
Conquest - haven't played

Paradox Interactive is based in Sweden, so WTH is right.

Maybe its just the box version of the game that isnt released until Firday because people in the United States, Europe, and Asia are playing the game online.

Gonna go pick up the game today. A whole day of work needs to be done first but I'm already excited lol.

I'd advise you to go to Tale Worlds and read up on the single player campaign before you get too deep into it and mess up.

For instance, I didn't know that you could start your own kingdom before I already became a vassal for the Nord King, so I renounced my oath to him and really upset him. While I was under him, I raided towns and caravans of other kingdoms, so pretty much everybody hates me and my fledgling kingdom. Also, when peace is declared if your vassals are prisoners they are released but your companions aren't, you actually have to break them out of prison. I had an awesome engineer, doctor, military tactician, and logistics expert as companions, but I made peace and now they are sitting in a prison tower while my army remains expensive, slow, and ineffective.

Another thing, Sultanate infantry are horrible at low levels. Other kingdoms, like the Nords, have javelins and throwing axes as projectile weapons for infantry. The projectile weapon for low level Sultanate infantry is rocks.

Its embarassing to watch your infanrty approach the enemy line and then stop and launch a barrage of rocks, especially while they are getting hammered by enemy arrows and javelins.
