my bad guys disregard my post ps3>360 in america by 101k in including jan not 950k i miss calculated some numbers

still its selling better than 360 since slim launch i foresee that it might sell more in 2010 in americas than the 360

Thats cool for MS, they have a price card to play as well as Natal...yet they seem to be hangling close to PS3 sales worldwide.

Just shows that they're ignoring the masses besides america and won't ackowledge the fact that they've been outsold (weekly) by sony worldwide.

OP should have put NDP in the thread...

Otherwise it shows that NDP released numbers and Major Nielson commented on it. When EU and Japan release their numbers, he may comment again... Twiter is not a podcast site, its meant for quick updates and posts.

and with games like HR GoW3 FF13 and Gt5 coming that number will go up massively b4 years end

Why pick the launch of the PS3 slim as a start point?  Honestly, this just smacks of you trying to put a positive spin on PS3 sales.  Looking at it from another angle, you could equally say that PS3 has failed to carry momentum from the PS3 slim launch in America because it has already fallen behind 360 in monthly sales.  Or you could say that it is still further behind 360 than when it launched.  

Why not accept monthly sales figures for what they are?  360 gets 2nd this month in America.  I'm sure PS3 will win its share of monthly sales in the coming months.

Thats true, the PS3 is outselling Xbox like crazy in its home ground (JAPAN) & by a little in Europe. But lets just see for how long, because the software sales definately doesn't reflect their hardware sales atm because MAG is terribly for an exclusives. Maybe its people are just buying it for the cheap Bluray player & media streaming capabilities?

Counting from slim launch until the end of 2010, the 360 will outsell the PS3 in the US. It won't be close, either.

Sony is doing nothing wrong, people just want a 360 over the PS3

either that or sony are holding consoles for some reason, because the PS3 is hard to find in most places right now.

Feels like a Lost -style time skip back to 2008

First comes the little gap, then the moderate boost due to a fan favourite IP and maybe a small shipment of backwards compatible systems.

Then at the beginning of August comes the 360 is doomed speak for about a month, then comes "$50 drop won't do anything" then "everybody who wants Halo Reach already owns a 360" then the fun begins.

What a boring cycle, next-gen needs to start to break the predictablity of it.
