Anyone tried the demo for Sonic & Sega All Stars Racing?

I really had high expectations for this one and all I wanted was a Mario Kart clone. Unfortunately, the game just feels sloppy. Way too much focus on weapons, too much going on both visually and on the road that affects driving, and the sluggish frame rate is rather distracting.

This will inevitably be a popular game in regards to sales simply because it looks fun and its the closest thing to Mario Kart for us HD owners. I'll definitely buy it at a discounted price just because I want a kart racer and I'm a whore for anything that uses Avatars. But I wish Sega could put out an All Stars game I can geninely call great.

Any thoughts from people that played it?

Banjo is playable in the demo, and he looks creepy as hell.
