No, I didn't predict a price cut. I knew they wouldn't. They didn't cut the price for Black Friday. I don't expect one anytime soon unless sales drop to almost nothing....
This is good and all, but Wii U sales don't seem to have drastically improved much. Still in stock everywhere I go, not anywhere near the top charts at amazon, gamestop, ect... It'll probably be up in hardware sales by at least a decent margin, but nothings changed it seems. The Wii U is still fading fast. It needs a decent-to-large price cut, marketing, Smash Wii U bundles and probably more if...
If 2015 is not kind to the Wii U, I expect we'll be hearing about a new console underworks in 2016 E3, and release it in 2017 sometime (middle or end of the year). Of course, the new console is already underworks, but Nintendo will announce it sooner (imo) if things look bleak for them. What do I think Nintendo should do? Hold onto the Wii U for a long time and allow hype for their next gen...
