I think the rumor mill for the XBox One and the PS4 is running a bit out of control. I doubt Sony will go to pay for online services honestly. If anything, PS3 PSN is supporting their new PS4 online functions for a while and I doubt they'd be stupid enough to abandon the model that differentiated them from their competition and which has been one of the main selling points of their PS3 system...
