awesome thread idea! :) I really thought your list was spot on except for 4 & 5. Geometry Wars Retro is probably one of my most played games of all time :D

Dude, as a giant Stephen King fan, I have to say that you have the coolest avatar in the world. That's just awesome. Hahaha. Are you a huge Stephen King fan too?

Yeah man I read IT at least once a year for tradition. I watched the movie when I was 9, and it scared me so bad I had nightmares for weeks. Then I read the book as a Freshman in HS, and have read it once a year since. It had such an impact on my life. He's the reason I got into horror. I now have over 1,000 horror movies! My other favorites include Desperation, The Stand, The Shining (though the movie is better, sorry Stephen), Dolores Claiborne, Insomnia, Pet Sematary, Duma Key, Everything's Eventual, etc. etc. You?

AWESOME. Yes, IT really is an amazing book. Worthy of the annual re-reads. Very cool. Stephen King is definitely my favorite author, I've read everything of his. Didn't really get into him until 2009 (the stuff I read as a child scared me soooo bad I was afraid to go back until I was older). In fact, I loved reading Stephen King so much that he inspired me to start writing myself and I've been doing that since December of 2009. Your favorites are a lot like mine: Man do I love Everything's Eventual. Insomnia is one of my favorites as well. And I really enjoyed Joyland last year. In short, I've read everything the man has written and released and there's little I didn't really really enjoy. :)

This is probably the best avatar/name synergy I've ever seen.

How the heck did Sony manage to retake the console market again?

in Gaming Discussion on 29 March 2017

    1. PS3 making a comeback. The PS3 was a disaster but it made a decent comeback in the last half of its cycle. Getting cheaper + the slim, then getting games like Uncharted 2 and The Last of Us. Sony's comeback started with the PS3's comeback. 2. Microsoft and Nintendo faltering around 2010. The Wii was pretty much going downhill once 2011 hit - and the Wii brand took a huge hit as a result. The...

Why I think Nintendo Switch is set for another Wii U disaster.

in Nintendo Discussion on 01 January 2017

I feel the same exact way. If you look at my posts from 2012 you'll see I called the Wii U a failure right away. How did I know? Simple: It appealed to nobody. You sell if you appeal to people. I am getting Wii U vibes with the Switch now. The Wii U appealed to nobody. No one wanted a 3D Land port, or a cel shaded Zelda, or another Donkey Kong Country. I will wait 2 weeks before completely...

UPDATED!!! Sony's 2017 Retail Exclusive lineup 6 retail exclusives releasing this month!!!!!!

in Sony Discussion on 04 December 2016

Starting to get 2001 PS2 flashbacks here. 2001 PS2 had the best games/exclusives. GTAIII, MGS2, FFX, DMC, J&D, GT3, TM: Black, Silent Hill 2, Maximo, ICO... honestly I could just end it there, but then it had the best multiplats as well (Tony Hawk 3, SSX Tricky, Red Faction). PS4 may be able to beat it. Unreal! Sony has done it again....
