    ReCore Definitive Edition Upgrades Detailed

in Microsoft Discussion on 23 August 2017

Can't wait. Booted up the game yesterday in anticipation of the update. Trying to max out the few things I didn't do. Gotta say, I really love playing it. The controls are tight and the gameplay is fun. Looking forward to getting me some more prismatic cores!...

Xbox One X will launch for $499

in Gaming Discussion on 11 June 2017

This isn't a new console generation. Games work on all Xbox devices. They can price it this way as a result. I don't like the price. So guess what? I play on my XBone and still have fun. Upgrade when the price fits my budget....

Is the Xbox One S Wireless Controller more accurate?

in Microsoft Discussion on 11 December 2016

I have an original Xbox One with the original controllers. One of the controllers RB button is slightly broken working occasionally. I've also found that the sticks seem loose, especially the left one. When I play Rocket League, it doesn't take much to accidentally jump left or right instead of forward to hit the ball like I want. The S controllers is on sale right now on Amazon and I'm...

Eurogamer: Nintendo NX is a portable console with detachable controllers (It also connects to your TV, and runs cartridges)

in Gaming Discussion on 27 July 2016

Merging console and handheld is a good business decision. The hardware idea is nice. I'm sure they'll sell at a profit out of the gate. But I have to wonder how this will impact actual games and third parties. Won't this hand-tie them when making games? Why cartridge based? I mean, really, why? Because it keeps hardware costs lower without any internal storage? Won't that ultimately make the...

JEMC said: dreamcast210 said: OK. Cool. What about the wattage? The current CPU is 65w. Should I stick with that wattage? Because for both of those listed above, there is a "s" version that is 65w. The S is a designation of "low power", which is why is uses less power, but at the expense of lower frequencies. But with your new power supply, you should be fine even with...

This is a list of compatible Sandy Bridge CPUs: http://www.cpu-upgrade.com/CPUs/Intel/Core_i3/i3-2120.html Your best options are the i7-2600 and i5-2500, because I'm going to assume that your motherboard won't let you...

in PC Discussion on 27 June 2016

Not to worry. I already upgraded my RAM to 8GB and put in a new power supply yesterday. Just waiting on the GTX 960 I ordered from Amazon to show up at my door. Right now, I won't update the CPU but probably will in the future. As I said before, I'm not looking for high end graphics or anything, just the ability to play more games on my computer. Is there much to know when I update from the i3...

Oh boy. I went into this thinking a power supply is a power supply. Didn't realize anything special was involved. Here's a link to what appears to be a generic supplu that I got on eBay: http://m.ebay.com/itm/321284338575?_mwBanner=1   And I was looking at this card because I'm just looking to expand the number of games I can play on my PC, graphics aren't my biggest concern.
