Must say the same about Americans! Always loved USA's 80-s culture and way of life, sadly its much changed now ((
Third Party Support: NX wont have big third party Support. Current gen AAA Games will skip the system.
Price: Its to expensive for an handheld
Power So we still dont know 100% exactly how powerfull the Switch will be but we know the SOC is made by Nvidia and its a custom tegra SOC. There are already 2 popular tegra chips released so far. The Tegra K1 (Shield Tablet) and the Tegra X1 (Shield Console). The Tegra X1 has a high energy consumption so isnt ideal for mobile usage. Here are some Benchmarks from both chips. I added the iPhone 7´s A10 Fusion SOC as comparison. Geekbench 3 Tegra K1: Singlecore: 1142 ; Multicore: 3609 Tegra X1: Singlecore: 1411 ; Multiscore: 4216 A10Fusion: Singlecore: 3487 Multicore: 5627 Antutu Tegra K1: 81.300 Tegra X1: 134.000 A10Fusion: 178.000 Manhatten (Offscreen 1080p) Tegra K1: 31 FPS Tegra X1: 54 FPS A10Fusion: 60 FPS
Now we bring in the Ps4 (a PC build with Ps4 like performance) as well for the last comparison: Gfxbench T-rex offscreen Tegra K1: 66 FPS Tegra X1: 118 FPS iPhone 7: 102 Fps 2015´s Ipad Pro: 169 Fps Ps4: 580 Fps Latest unreleased Nvidia Tegra Chip (rumored x2): 183 Fps Source: https://gfxbench.com/
So even if Nintendo has put in the latest Nvidia Tegra X2 chip, which will most likely be designed and tested for a non mobile solution (like X1), with bad energy effency and cooling problems, the Switch will be at maximal 30% of the power of the Ps4 or 50% of the Power of the Xbox One (or 2,3x the Power of the Wii U). Even this scenario so far is very unlikely. A custom, more energy effiecent X1 ship is more likely.
The Nintendo Switch will NOT be significant stronger then modern iOS and Android Smartphone Flagshipes. In 1-2 Years, modern smartphone will already outperform the Switch significantly.
Third Party Supprt Current Gen Games like Witcher 3, Mass Effect Andromeda, Battlefield 1 and co wont come to the NSwitch. Its just not capable of running those. The Gap in terms of Power between Nintendo Switch and Wii U will be similar to the Gap between Gamecube and Wii. We WONT see much improvement in graphics. Mario, Zelda and co wont look significant better. Third Party Games that are possible on the Switch will ALSO be possible on an current iPhone or Android Flagships. Its already possible to play Skyrim on an 2015´s iPad Pro, iPhone 7 and co. Controllers are already available and with the success of the Switch will definitly increase in terms of popularity and quality. xbox 360 games like Bioshock are already available on iPhones. With the very realistic scenario of 3rd Party games also coming to iOS/Android, many people will loose interest in the Switch. The only advantage the switch will have are Nintendo games. Exactly like the Wii U. People are not gonna get a new console for nintendo games and they wont get a new tablet either.
Price With the modernst Nvdia ARM SOC equipped the switch will easily be around 300 - 400 dollars (the Nvidia Shield console is 250 bucks without a Screen). Nintendo is NOT gonna sell the system at a loss. Alot of 3ds sales come from people that are okay with paying 100 bucks for Mario/Pokemon. Those people wont get the NX: its to expensive. Same priece range like Wii U which was to expensive as well.
All in all i predict 25-35 Mio lifetime sales. Feel free to bookmark this thread and we can talk again later ;)
Xenoblade Chronicles can be played with the WiiChuck combo, but I personally prefer using the Classic Controller, as having dual analog provides better camera control. Using WiiChuck requires you to use the C button to control the camera.
You think XB1 will be at 11m at the end of the year? Dang that is a bold prediction, well anyway good luck with that :)

I have been thinking about this for the past year or so. I don't think anyone can deny that nostalgia for the original 150 Pokemon has been very high lately with the global phenomenon that was Pokemon Go and variation of some of the original Pokemon in Sun and Moon. I don't really like Sinnoh and don't really care if there isn't a remake of it. I would love to see Kanto in its full glory again...
I don't think 3ds will eat into Switch's sales very much if at all. 3ds is old hardware and people aren't buying it in droves like they use to (unless there's a Pokemon game). There's like five games this year for 3ds and I doubt any of them are gonna push sales....
Yep through Best Buy. I also pre-ordered Zelda (obviously), the charging grip, and neon blue joy-cons. Gonna try to pre-order Bomberman R and a pro controller as soon as I can....
