Probably the best designed controller any system has had. Every button being a differentshape wasn't a bad thing, it was brilliant. It was completely ergonomic. There are always times I'd get one button confused with another throughout my gaming life (the Sega Genesis controller was probably the worst in this way and, hell, pretty much every way). Much, much less with the Gamecube controller.

My consoles and the fates they suffered:

Atari 7800 (Sold), Intellivision (Thrown out), Gameboy (Lost), Super Nintendo (Stolen), Super Nintendo (2nd copy) (Thrown out by mother), Nintendo 64 (Still own), Super Nintendo (3rd copy) (Still own), Wii (Sold)
