Yes, it will still get support, because 95% of its third party support is comprised of non-demanding games such as indies, older ports, exclusives, and other non-AAA fare that will not be based on/restricted to PS5/XSX spec.

This. I foresee a lot of remasters from the 360-PS3, we are actually getting Metro Redux on Switch now. As programmers and teams get more proficient at optimizations and the hardware I think we will also see some ports or current gen (PS4-X1) games...we did get Witcher 3 after all.

Yeah there's still a couple of PS4/Xbone games I'd like to see ported like RE7 and Nier Automata.

Switch is already getting hardly any big budget current gen games, so it won't make a significant difference. It's shown it can succeed without those games, and there's no reason it won't continue to get the lower budget, smaller scale games that comprise the vast majority of its current third party catalog.

That's a different thread then. I doubt indie devs will increase their graphics all that much or follow up on RTing or any of that shit.

The thread is "will Switch get third party support post PS5?" not "will Switch get PS5/XSX AAA multiplats?"
