Well said! You're absolutely correct! Unfortunately, the fact that those weren't even close to being the only memorable games from that gen means your argument is kind of laughable but, still, well said!
Bonus points for trying that in the same gen as Final Fantasy 7, too. That's like making a list of the most memorable science fiction films and not mentioning Star Wars.
