what? Schindler's List is not a 'fun' movie but it's still hailed as a masterpiece. Fun isn't the only feeling art can invoke.

Right, because when you want to sell gaming as a hobby to people, a common example used is, "it can feel like Schindler's List at times".

Shadow of the Colossus and Breath of the Wild could each be considered 'artistic' in their own right. I never had to feel bored playing either of them.
We are still talking about video games right?

And other people would tell you they did feel bored of those games,me myself like it that they make the environment its own entity,Death Stranding wants to recreate the feeling of overcoming nature as a tiny vulnerable being so for me that is no emptiness and boredom but challenging and rewarding to get to point B in one piece.

On the other hand COD games bore me while they're full of action and most looter shooters too because it also feels like one same thing being repeated over and over again for me but it is good to take a step back and know what you do not like about something because of yourself, or because of the game.

If a game is made to follow a certain artistic vision ands succeeds in giving a good amount of people a unique and enjoyable experience then it is a good game and surely when there is just the game without any bad practices.

Like Sekiro with souls fans this will not be a game for every fan of the other games that had Kojimas involvement but that is fine.
