Not sure why some are still rolling the "Nintendo didn't make new IPs until Splatoon" argument since that's always be a load of bullshit. Sure, you can argue that they played it too safe in the Wii U days, but it's not like Nintendo didn't like making new things and then Splatoon came along and suddenly they do.

I never said Nintendo didn't make new IPs until Splatoon.
