Opinion: Rain in BOTW is a positive addition to the game

Lol, maybe put down the keyboard, go do some laundry and come back later to see if the thread has people who agree with you instead of listening to me telling you there are ways around the issue you're having which you would have collected in the first 5 minutes of play. 

I've not changed the subject once, the subject is simply understanding and overcoming the challenges of a game. Your attempt to call them bad design because you do not understand why they're in the game is what it boils down to. I think the game wouldn't have gotten the rating it achieved if the game didn't challenge the players as it did.
